Perched one floor above L’usine, Red Door Specialty Coffee is another exciting café switching up the scene in Ho Chi Minh City. While you can certainly find an excellent Ca Phe Da or sweet milk coffee here, what they do best is curate a rotating list of some of the world’s finest roasts. From fruity, German blends to the freshest Ethiopian coffee you’ll find in Vietnam, Red Door is a coffee connoisseur’s delight.
Inside, take a break from the heat with a view of the Opera House along Dong Khoi street to the front and a breathtaking expanse of the city—from crumbling walls to chic rooftops—out the back. Inside, they also play host to local painters and artists, featuring new art exhibits every month. The decorum is calming and modern, making it an easy choice for a day of working out-of-office or stopping by to escape the heat. In addition to specialty coffees, Red Door also stocks an impressive wine list.
